Somehow, while using public wi-fi at Crimson Lights, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) figured out how to steal it from him. And he doesn’t have a backup. And, presumably, neither do the people who originally created it. So Cane has to tell Lily he’s still a good guy — he’s just also very stupid.

Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Don’t Kiss

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) got drunk and threw herself at Daniel (Michael Graziadei). He gently let her down, though he assured her they could still be friends.

And Tessa needs all the friends she can get, since Mariah (Camryn Grimes) continues to keep her distance, while having imaginary conversations with the presumably imaginary Reverend Ian (Ray Wise).

So, if they’re going to stay friend-zoned, Tessa and Daniel need to agree on what lines they can—and what lines they can’t—cross.
