Stefon Diggs’ Mom. Stephanie Diggs has been so excited and drop heartwarming messages including love emoji after Cardi B announced she’s expecting a baby with her son after pair dating move closer to a years.

The “I Like It” rapper, 32, revealed in an interview on CBS Mornings that aired on Wednesday, Sept. 17 that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, due before her tour launches in February.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B told anchor Gayle King, in a pre-taped interview.

Responding to King’s messages of congratulations, Cardi — born Belcalis Almánzar — expressed her thanks and shared, “I’m excited.”

“I’m happy,” she said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

She went on to share about her relationship. “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she said. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going it and that’s just what we are.”

Diggs, a 31-year-old NFL wide receiver for the New England Patriots, makes Cardi feel “safe,” she told King — both emotionally and physically. “You see how big he is,” she joked.

“He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,’ said Cardi. “Two weeks ago, I was literally having a panic attack. I was like crying and crying and crying, just because I was getting really nervous with the whole album rollout. People were coming at me very hard; you know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me.”

The rapper continued, “I was like, ‘See, this is why I don’t put music out?’ This is my art and something I put a lot of time to and it’s just like sometimes, when people just rip it apart, it just hurts you and it crushes you And he was just like, ‘Girl, you better get it together.’ … I feel like feeling safe, feeling confident, it makes you feel like you can take over the world.”

She wrote: “wow am so excited another grand child on the way @cardib congratulations wishes you safety delivered.”

Cardi B and Diggs have been linked since October 2024. In May 2025, the pair made their first public appearance together at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, after months of attending the same events, but arriving separately.

Until that moment, Cardi had dodged the relationship rumors. She avoided similar speculation about her pregnancy — something she explained to King on CBS Mornings was a deliberate choices.

“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ Like, I’m not hiding,” Cardi said. “On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? Let me close some deals first. And it’s like, you don’t really want to say right way that you’re pregnant. It’s like, ‘Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.’ “

In fact, Cardi admitted to King that, as of the interview’s taping, she hadn’t yet told her parents though planned to before it aired. “They just be looking at me,” she said, noting that she was reluctant to tell them because she’s scared of them. “I’m very scared of my parents!”

That has nothing to do with their feelings towards Diggs. “They like him, they do like him,” she said.

“By the way, now that I talked about it, y’all better get my album,” she said, addressing the audience. “Y’all wanted to know, right? Now you know. Now y’all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told y’all, now go support my album ’cause I’m a mother of four now!” “

Diggs is already dad to an 8-year-old daughter named Nova, who was born in October 2016.

As for Cardi B, the Love & Hip Hop: New York alum shares three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. The former couple are parents to daughter Kulture Kiari, 7, son Wave Set, 4, and daughter Blossom Belle, whom they welcomed in September 2024. Offset is also a father to sons Jordan, 15, and Kody, 10, and daughter Kalea Marie, 10, from previous relationships.

Speaking on CBS Mornings, Cardi confirmed she and Diggs were thinking they wanted to have a child together.

“Everybody was telling me, ‘I should have fun.’ And we had a little bit of too much fun and now I’m here. I’m here! We had too much fun!’ ” she joked. “But we’re very excited. We’re really happy.”
