WASHINGTON, DC: Kid Rock truly made a fashion statement during his visit to the White House on Monday, March 31, leaving several fans and netizens flabbergasted.
The 54-year-old musician, born Bob Ritchie, visited the White House on the occasion of President Donald Trump signing an executive order directing the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission to crack down on unfair ticket scalping.

As the musician, who has been a friend of the 78-year-old commander-in-chief for a decade, entered the Oval Office, he made sure to turn heads with his unusual choice of outfit in the colors of the American flag. One Fox News reporter even described Rock as “someone who looked like they were about to be shot out of a cannon,” as per the Daily Beast.
Kid Rock joins Donald Trump for signing of executive order against ticket scalping
On the topic of ticket scalping, Kid Rock said, “If I set my ticket prices low, these bots immediately eat them up, and they resell for hundreds of dollars more, and I’m just making these bad actors rich,” adding that he has already spoken with Ticketmaster CEO Michael Rapino, who was reportedly “on board” with the idea.
“The bottom line is, there’s money for everyone to be made. There’s plenty of money to go around. No one’s gonna really lose here,” he added.

For his visit, the ‘Redneck Paradise’ singer pulled off an interesting rock ‘n’ roll-inspired outfit featuring a co-ord set. His red set was embellished with various symbols, including the graphic of the American flag. His jacket also featured the number “250”—in red, blue, and white—presumably referencing the 250th anniversary of American Independence next year.
As his outfit gained attention, one of the reporters even jokingly asked Trump whether he would think of wearing Rock’s jacket.
“I don’t know,” replied the president, before adding, “I was thinking about doing it for tomorrow. We have a big event coming up, and I was thinking about doing it, but I’m not sure.”
Rock’s visit came just a month after the Oval Office visit of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who sparked controversy with his unconventional outfit choice.
The European leader ditched a suit and tie for a more military-style outfit.

At the meeting, Trump told Zelensky, “Ooh, you’re all dressed up,” before turning to the cameras and adding, “He’s all dressed up today!”
Even conservative reporter and MAGA firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend Brian Glenn mocked the Ukrainian president, saying, “Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?”
Zelensky, however, shut down the attacks, saying he would wear a suit when his country is out of the war.
