Matthew Stafford issues warning to Jason Kelce on becoming a father of four girls
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford gave soon-to-be father of four girls Jason Kelce parenting advice on that unique parenting circumstance, telling him to ‘buckle up’.
Kelce will welcome his fourth child into the world over the next few months with wife Kylie, while Stafford, already has a quartet of daughters with his spouse, Kelly.
Being in a household of six, with five being women, can come with unique challenges, with the legendary NFL center looking for a jumpstart.
On the latest episode of New Heights, with Jason’s younger brother Travis Kelce listening on, Stafford detailed his experience as a father to four daughters.
‘Buckle up!’ Stafford said when asked by Jason on advice on raising four daughters, with the Kelce brothers erupting in laughter at the quarterback’s immediate answer.
‘It’s a blast man. We saw each other not too long ago and we were talking about it. It’s a blast man, my 7 year olds will soon be 8, a 6 and a 4. So we’re like rockin’ and rollin’. We’re in leotards all the time doing gymnastics around the house.’

‘It’s crazy. At this point, I don’t even know what I would do with a boy. I can’t even wrap my head around it, so I’m all in on the girls thing.’
Travis then gave his advice on what Stafford would have done with a male child – ‘Throw them that pigskin, let them sling it man.’
Then, Jason retorted about the experience of being a girl dad.
‘Changing a diaper with a nutsack there just feels like it would be weird,’ Jason said. ‘Wiping s*** up a nutsack, I don’t want to be part of that.’
‘I’m with you, I’m with you 100 hundred percent,’ Stafford responded to laughs from all three men.
Stafford has never played an NFL down with either Kelce brother by his side, with that continuing now that Travis and he have pledged next season to separate teams.
Kelly and Matthew share twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, as well as 6-year-old Hunter, and Tyler, 4.
Jason and Kylie have three daughters for the next several weeks – 5-year-old Wyatt, Elliotte, 3, and 1-year-old Bennett.

The mountain path above Aspen was narrow, a ribbon of pale stone stitched into the side of the world. On one side, a wall of granite rose like a shut door. On the other, the earth fell away into spruce and shadow, the kind of drop that doesn’t look real until you stand close enough to feel your stomach tilt.
